Isaiah 37:26-28

^26 (A)Have you not heard?
Long ago I did it;
From days of old I ^(B)formed it.
Now ^(C)I have brought it to pass,
That ^(D)you should devastate fortified cities into ^(E)ruinous heaps.
²⁷ So their inhabitants were short of power;
They were dismayed and put to shame;
They were as the ^(F)plant of the field and as the green herb,
As ^(G)grass on the rooftops ^[a]is scorched before it rises.
²⁸ But I ^(H)know your sitting down
And your going out and your coming in
And your raging against Me.
